PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE #12 EVERYDAY AT…

(Podéis leer este artículo en Español aquí. ♦ Podem ler este artigo em Português aqui.)

Good morning everybody! How was your weekend? Mine was great! On Saturday we went shopping and on Sunday we made a pic-nic with some friends. Olivia behaved wonderfully in all occasions. She is a very quiet baby and it seems she adapts very well to any situation. Of course, she arrives home completely exhausted, poor thing, because outside she doesn’t sleep or eat what she usually does in the tranquility of our home. Even so, she almost doesn’t complain!

For this week’s challenge, I took my photos everyday at 7pm. My photos aren’t as pretty or varied as I wanted them to be because at that time I’m usually breastfeeding my baby and I don’t have much to work with… On Monday we were at home watching a documentary; on Tuesday watching the Friends tv series; on Wednesday we were in a gas station, coming back home after spending the entire day in Lyon; on Thursday at home listening some great music; on Friday in silence; on Saturday in the parking lot of the mall and on Sunday on the bed, all three of us, after the pic-nic.

My friend Ewa is the only person who’s participating this week. She took her photos everyday between 8 and 8:30pm from the same point of view. Like me, she also has a baby 3 weeks older than Olivia. I love her photos, aren’t they beautiful?

TODAY WE SHARE… 3 ARE NOT A CROWD

(Podéis leer este artículo en Español aquí. ♦ Podem ler este artigo em Português aqui.)

Lately I’ve been participating in several initiatives from some Spanish blogs. This post is part of one of them, so it doesn’t make much sense to publish it in English… I’m sorry…

I’ll just translate what I wrote to this initiative from “Hoy Compartimos…” which theme is “3 are not a crowd”. The complete post is in Spanish.

My dark circles have tripled it’s size…

DIY: HOW TO TURN YOUR INSTAGRAM PHOTOS INTO FRIDGE MAGNETS

(Podéis leer este artículo en Español aquí. ♦ Podem ler este artigo em Português aqui.)

See how to create your own kitchen magnets using your Instagram photos!

So easy that I don’t even have to show you pictures of the how-to process!

You just need these materials:

IMG_20140409_175225

And all you have to do is:

1. print your photos on the PHOTO PAPER;
2. cut them using the cutter and a ruler;
3. stick the photos to the MAGNET SHEET (it comes already with glue on one of its faces);
4. cut the MAGNET SHEET with your photos already glued to it.

And that’s it! Easy, right? Do you like the idea?

So, this week let’s try to keep things organized and published in time!

PHOTOS TAKEN FROM ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW: THE GROUND

Berlin breathes art from everywhere…

In August I was in Berlin… for me it is a  dream city! This city breathes art everywhere. In every neighborhood you get to see a street market, where anything is sold, like home-made food, paintings, fashion accessories, purses, sweets… Every street has something different, like a painted wall or door, a windowpane with flowers, a sculpture made of garbage, it’s really a world of inspiration! I’ve been there for 10 days and it felt like it wasn’t enough… Check out some of the many pictures I’ve taken.

By the way, I’m preparing a much more complete post about my trip to Berlin. Soon you’ll get to see it at FOTOVIAJAR, a Portuguese web page about traveling from a friend of mine.

At the several street markets I visited, I had the opportunity of knowing the work of many artists that I didn’t know of until now. Here are the websites of some of them:
