And we continue with the bowls… I’ve been testing some techniques and this one was the one that I had more desire to implement. Making a string bowl is not as easy as I had imagined, so I had to get help. I found it here. My bowl is not as perfect as the one from this tutorial, but I love it nevertheless! I think the secret is in the type of string or yarn we use, and mine was too hard and slippery for this.
New drawing, this one for Bárbara.
And it was her that gave me this idea. What do you think about it? I think I have to develop it…
And the ladybug ring that Viri ordered a long time ago… thanks for the patience!
And, while I don’t work in the online store, you know that if you want to order something just send me an e-mail to email@example.com .
Finally I finished my secret project!
Thanks to my parents-in-law (poor things, they’ve been drinking a lot of wine just to save me the corks…) , to the Shibumi cafe (in Novo Mesoiro, A Coruña) and the Garimbota cafe (Monte Alto)!
I hope you like it!
I used a plywood board in which, many years ago, I had painted something I didn’t like at all. I didn’t find two corks alike and that’s why we can see some imperfections or patches, but for me the beauty is in all things that are imperfect!
